The First Stage of your New Business Opportunity

If you have been following my blog, we were talking about the work involved in starting a new business opportunity.  We ended the last blog by mentioning the various stages of a business opportunity. 

If this is your first attempt at a new business opportunity, you are in an embryonic stage.  You are formulating the idea that you want another means of bringing in income.  We can help here.  Either we have an opportunity you are interested in, or perhaps we know someone who is already working in the area you are interested in and we can put you in touch with them.

Not all of our opportunities require you to carry any product or inventory.  Actually, none of our opportunities REQUIRE you to do anything, even carry inventory, but in some cases it would be advisable to have inventory on hand for that immediate gratification customer.  If they become excited about what you have to offer, if they have to wait a week or two, their excitement about your product offering could wear off enough for them to no longer be interested in your product/opportunity. 

If you have opportunities to offer, it is highly recommended that you, yourself participate or use the items you are offering.  How can you feel passionate about a product when you don’t us it yourself?  How in good conscience, can you say this particular product really works if it doesn’t work for you?  In order for a customer to believe you, you have to have a personal story or testimonial.  I do not mean that you have to stand on a podium and bear your heart, you just should really believe in what you are selling.

You would be doing your customers a disservice by getting them into something you do not truly embrace.  They will believe you if you practice what you preach.  This goes back to your personal inventory (what you are good at, etc.) .  Once you have determined what your personal likes and dislikes are, then what you present to customers is an honest opinion.
